Wildlife
Much like landscape photography, pursuing wildlife stills is a game of patience and composure.
I personally like my wildlife photography to be conducted without my subject aware of my presence. Whilst I can’t guarantee this (I’m sure they’re somewhat aware), I will do what I can to not disturb any creatures - calls, twitching and sudden glances are usually a giveaway!
This also means my subjects are photographed in their habitat, which can require a fair bit of crawling/ lying still, aching arms from holding the telephoto and patience.
My edits are fairly light touch. I like the challenge of trying to capture 90% of the final product in camera.
